Kandy,I just have to tell ya,the other day Lee and I went on a date to Pocatello and went for a walk at Ross park. Well we ended up walking to our old stomping grounds, the Village. We walked up to our old apartment #215 it was so fun going back, and it made me think of you. I loved living with ya. Crockpot BBQ Chicken Sandwiches
Throw a few chicken breasts in the crockpot, squeeze some BBQ sauce in, add 1/4 - 1/2 c water and cook on high for about 3 hours. Take two forks and shred the chicken, stir it in the sauce in the crock, then pile on buns. Yum! Add a salad, corn on the cob, beans, whatever is easy!

Kandy my family is loving the recipes from the abs diet cookbook. They are fast, healthy and delicious. Our fav is Bell Ringer 2 tsp. of peanut oil, 1/4 tsp - 1/2 tsp of crushed red pepper, heat this in a skillet. Throw a couple of boneless, skinless thin sliced chicken breast. Cook a couple of min. then throw in sliced red, yellow and green bell peppers and 1/2 slivered onion. We serve it over brown rice. Yummy

Sun Valley, Idaho 2021

We stayed at a cute log cabin by the path that goes from Sun Valley to Hailey. There was a huge open field where we were able to throw the ball and play with the dogs in the snow. We ate lunches out and cooked the other meals in the cabin.  Connelly got  the French dip, Nate got the Pastrami, Kate got Macaroni salad and I got the Acai bowl! This was our fourth year going to SunValley.  We love to shop at the  thrift store, Gold Mine.  We found a lamp, board games, Sorrel snow boots for kate, beanies, and Corral plates for the kitchen!! GOLD MINE! Connelly went to Bald Mountain for the first time.  He was able to ski just as fast if not as fast as me.  The ski runs there are so long.  I never took the kids because they are  so long and I thought they wouldn't last two runs.  Connelly and I did 5 runs!!  It was so fun.  Then we got the souvenir pins for Dolla...

Connelly 3 years old

I haven't blogged or done a cute updated pix of Connelly since his March birthday when he turned three. He is so fun. I have no energy because I'm pregnant but he has a ton of it. He loves to ride his bike and play with his friends from sun up to sun down. He believes he is pregnant too and he has a "baby Kate" in his belly like I do. We are looking forward to Oct. 13th as much as ever in this horrid heat. I hate being pregnant in the summer. I love summer, I love being in a bathing suit, and this summer isn't what I love because I don't look good in a bathing suit and I hate the heat.

Silver Lake

Connelly was able to have a first hike the other day. I took him up Big Cottonwood canyon and we walked around silver lake. As you can see I was in a tank top and shorts and Connelly didn't have a jacket or anything. We started our little walk, only a mile, and it started to rain, then snow/hail. It was Crazy. Connelly didn't mind though. He had a great time.
