    Saturday was Connelly's first birthday. We had a family luncheon and party. We started the party with a dip in the Dimple Dell pool and then off to the church for a luncheon. Nate had cooked a pork shoulder for 72 hours and it was great. Connelly didn't really get it but it was fun.

So this post is a combination of what I've been thinking the past little bit: First, this morning, I didn't do anything with myself because I was going to wear a hat to class, Anatomy 2320, and so I just picked my zits and got Connelly to go to my mother in laws, and left. Yes left without the freaking hat. I didn't comb my hair, didn't put make up on, and left the house red, picked on ugly zit face. What was I thinking. oh well, it isn't like I even talk to anyone in class or having an affair with my teacher so no biggy. Second, I took a test in my anatomy class Monday, and I thought for sure we would get our tests back today. WE DIDN"T. so I have to anticipate my score another 6 days. HHHHHHHHHHHHUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU...... Connelly must be getting more teeth. He is Onery. He will be cute however about 10 minutes before he goes to be. So I wax. Do you? What do you wax? Well, I wax my body, well my eyebrows and girly mustache, not those other body parts they do in "Brazil." Any who..... Today was the day. I hadn't waxed in FOREVER and so I decided I'd take a stab at it. I have been doing my own waxing since I got married, I use to live with this wonderful girl, Jamie, and she was a professional, but I got it free. The friendly roommate discount. She did great. She would spend a good 20 min. or more and wax, pluck, and make me a new girl with definition on the brow line. Well, at first I was horrible and took forever. However, through the years and trials, I have gotten better....UNTIL today. I decided to do it at the wrong time and that was the start of a horrible ending to this sad story. So I have decided to apply for Financial Aid. I filled out the form once before, about two years ago. I didn't hear anything back from the feds or schools. OBVIOUSLY, if you have done this yourself, you know why. The reason is, IS because I'M suppose to contact them, or at least check my school web page. I never check my school web page. I have my school e-mail account forwarded to my yahoo account becuase I don't check it. So I don't know why they don't e-mail me, but they don't. They post it as an announcement on my "MYPAGE" it is called. So I found out I was suppose to call becuase I was complaining about never hearing about anything when I did the form two years ago to a co-worker. Well, she explained it to me and so I called the school and they confirmed it. So I'm going to try again. I figured if any year I was to get aid it would be this year. We had a child, I didn't work for a full 3 months, and after that I only worked 2

I wanted to put together this slideshow before he turns one. I haven't blogged really good the last little bit because I've been so busy with school. So today I did a ton. Connelly turns one in two weeks and so I'm gearing up for the transition and making sure all the pictures are in order on my computer and updated. I figure that is one way to stay on top of it.

       

  Holly, my sister, and Ellie, her daughter, came to our house this weekend. We had tons of fun. We went to Dimple Dell for free and went swimming. It was a cheap and relaxing weekend. We cooked and played with the kids. Ellie tried on all my old dresses, my mom had made me when I was her age. They fit her perfectly. They both love the water and couldn't get enough of the pool. Holly is looking good and prego these days with the twins on their way, but you can't tell from the pictures.

        Connelly loves to sit on the cupboard and watch me work. I tried to cover up his bad hair with a hat, that is my trick lately with my hair at least, and he wasn't going to have it.

  Do you think you are having a bad hair day? Well, Connelly definately was the other day. His hair is getting so long. I don't want to cut it though. I love it!! He has been really onery lately and I'm hoping when he turns One, in two weeks, that will change.? What do you think?
