Dance 1010

I am taking a Dance class to satisfy the Diversity requirement at SLCC. I really like it. last week we learned West Africian Dance. http://www.westafricandance.com/ is a website to learn more. My instructor went to Africa and learned from Youssouf Koumbassa, the instructor. It is a fun dance and interesting.
I have to go to two live performances. Emalia told me about a great performance that is going on Sept. 17-20 at BYU it is called "world of dance" and it is only $8-15. The website is www.byuarts.com I'm so excited to go. I have never been to a ballet. I went to byu in Dec. one year and watched the "christmas around the world" performance. It was great. Nate went with me, but I doubt I'm going to get him to go this time with me. He isn't into it much. I really like it and want to get into going to the arts more.

That sounds like so much fun! I love dance, watching it and doing it. If we lived closer I would volunteer to go with you to any artsy thing you wanted to go to. Brig is also not very appreciative of the arts!

That is so awesome!! I am in a dance class too and love it!!! I take hip hop and have only been in dance for three years. But anyways...that is so cool that you get to go to that world of dance thing! It sounds like a blast!

Yipee for dance!! I'm so glad you're liking your dance class and that you're interested in the arts. African dance is SO fun--talk about 'gyrating'. I'm excited you're coming to The World of Dance. It'll be great for you get a taste of all the different genres of dance.

Bad decision

House work

So I need to mop, vacuum, dust, all that. I don't want to, so I'm doing what I never do and look on my blog, other's blogs, and freebies to deals. Which all are a waste of time and I need to not do. Which I haven't done forever because I know that they are a waste of time. I have been blogging a little lately, because Trish said my humor was needed and I do believe that. However, I don't need to read the freebies or other's blogs. First they are just bragging on their blogs. no one tells the truth like: Nate and I fought today, our marriage sucks, and we aren't in the best spot right now. Random thoughts

So this post is a combination of what I've been thinking the past little bit: First, this morning, I didn't do anything with myself because I was going to wear a hat to class, Anatomy 2320, and so I just picked my zits and got Connelly to go to my mother in laws, and left. Yes left without the freaking hat. I didn't comb my hair, didn't put make up on, and left the house red, picked on ugly zit face. What was I thinking. oh well, it isn't like I even talk to anyone in class or having an affair with my teacher so no biggy. Second, I took a test in my anatomy class Monday, and I thought for sure we would get our tests back today. WE DIDN"T. so I have to anticipate my score another 6 days.
