The heart

So I'm in school for echocardiography. That is ultrasounds of the heart. I'm doing okay in school, but sometimes I feel like I'll never get it. The physics class that I"m in isn't easy. The teacher is a nightmare and doesn't know how to teach people that do not have a clue. She has been teaching so long, she doesn't remember what it is like to now know what attenuate means and propagate. She just thinks I know these things. I know the words now, but the first day of class she lost me right off with those words and many many more.

I will graduate in Dec. if all goes as planned. I know that I'll love my job and glad that I did the schooling. I'll finally have a bachelors and that is my goal.

Hi Kandy! We're doing well, How are you guys? Florida has been a big change but we're adjusting. So you mentioned that you know the Tippets? It's such a small world--He is also a law school student down here at Ave Maria. Cordie is in the branch (i'm in the ward) so we don't know each other every well but but she's really nice and a great photographer. She took my brother and sister in laws pictures. That's so funny you grew up with him! Aubrey keeps me up to date with your girl's night adventures and it sounds like FUN! ;-) Take care!

Sun Valley, Idaho 2021

We stayed at a cute log cabin by the path that goes from Sun Valley to Hailey. There was a huge open field where we were able to throw the ball and play with the dogs in the snow. We ate lunches out and cooked the other meals in the cabin.  Connelly got  the French dip, Nate got the Pastrami, Kate got Macaroni salad and I got the Acai bowl! This was our fourth year going to SunValley.  We love to shop at the  thrift store, Gold Mine.  We found a lamp, board games, Sorrel snow boots for kate, beanies, and Corral plates for the kitchen!! GOLD MINE! Connelly went to Bald Mountain for the first time.  He was able to ski just as fast if not as fast as me.  The ski runs there are so long.  I never took the kids because they are  so long and I thought they wouldn't last two runs.  Connelly and I did 5 runs!!  It was so fun.  Then we got the souvenir pins for Dolla...

Found a home

Bell has found a new home. After I put her up for FREE on ksl.com, I got a ton of calls. The first little old lady that came to look at her snatched her right up. I was really surprised because Bell snapped at her right off, but I guess things are going well now. The lady called me later in the day, and said, "thank you, thank you. Bell is the dog I've waited for my whole life." She said that Bell just followed her around all day and the neighborhood kids love her. I'm so relieved.

2020 Update on kids and life

This year the kids did home school from March 2020 until the end of the school year. It was crazy. I would have never known the words Pandemic or Social distancing until 2020. We ended up playing games every night for about 4 hours at the beginning of the pandemic. We made it through the school year. Then we started school in the fall with in person class and we have been so lucky to get through to Christmas break with no breaks from school and we even went five days aweek. Connelly is in 7th grade this fall. He is doing good with all A's so far. He thought he had a B in one class the first term and miracle of all miracles somehow it turned to an A- last minute. He was promised a phone if he gets straight A's for the next two years, 7th and 8th grade. He has worked really had on keeping an eye on his grades. He really is a good kid. I love him so much. He loves to Ski, Ninja, and ride my new mountain bike. I will need to get him a mountain bike next year. ...
