Draper Temple

So I finally just spur of the momment decide that Nate and I are going to the temple TODAY. We leave ASAP after work and get to the Draper Temple. They said that you don't need reservations anymore. HOwever when we got there they weren't taking reservations anymore, but they were honoring the people's reservations that had already made them awhile ago. So we decided to do inititories and that would be good. Well of course Nate got right in and out in 30 min. I however waited just 30 min to get in and only did three names and finally had to leave because I knew that Nate was waiting on me So in one hour I only did three names. Our friends went a little later than us and were going to do sealings and didn't get into the 7:00 pm session for that either. It is still WAY buzy there and not enough workers. I'm going to the South Jordan one for a while or I'll go way early in the morning on an off day when no one else is there.
I hadn't been to the temple in a year. ONce I had Connelly I just was so busy and the time flew. I can't let that Happen again. I need to go next week in the middle of the week. THat is my GOAL!!!!
Today our neighborhood was flooded. Our backyard is a mud hole and mud and rocks filled our trench to build the retaining wall in so that has to be re-dug out. Our in laws house was a little flooded but their neighbors house was drenched and Utah Distaster Control has been there cleaning up for hours. I think we might need to build an ARK soon and get two of each living animal together, boy and girl of course, and start praying. What do you think?

oh man that sucks bad! I was wondering if you got flooded when I was watching the news. We didn't get near the amount of rain that you guys did.

Sun Valley, Idaho 2021

We stayed at a cute log cabin by the path that goes from Sun Valley to Hailey. There was a huge open field where we were able to throw the ball and play with the dogs in the snow. We ate lunches out and cooked the other meals in the cabin.  Connelly got  the French dip, Nate got the Pastrami, Kate got Macaroni salad and I got the Acai bowl! This was our fourth year going to SunValley.  We love to shop at the  thrift store, Gold Mine.  We found a lamp, board games, Sorrel snow boots for kate, beanies, and Corral plates for the kitchen!! GOLD MINE! Connelly went to Bald Mountain for the first time.  He was able to ski just as fast if not as fast as me.  The ski runs there are so long.  I never took the kids because they are  so long and I thought they wouldn't last two runs.  Connelly and I did 5 runs!!  It was so fun.  Then we got the souvenir pins for Dolla...

Bad decision

So I wax. Do you? What do you wax? Well, I wax my body, well my eyebrows and girly mustache, not those other body parts they do in "Brazil." Any who..... Today was the day. I hadn't waxed in FOREVER and so I decided I'd take a stab at it. I have been doing my own waxing since I got married, I use to live with this wonderful girl, Jamie, and she was a professional, but I got it free. The friendly roommate discount. She did great. She would spend a good 20 min. or more and wax, pluck, and make me a new girl with definition on the brow line. Well, at first I was horrible and took forever. However, through the years and trials, I have gotten better....UNTIL today. I decided to do it at the wrong time and that was the start of a horrible ending to this sad story. Mexican Rivera Cruise

Here is Lover's Beach in Cabo San Lucus. It was fun to go and swim in the clear water. Nate went Parasailing. I got a hour massage on the beach. We stopped at Puerta Vallarta, Mazatlan, and Cabo. We went for a week. No kids!! It was fun, about the fourth day my pregnancy really hit me . Food just wasn't appetizing anymore and I just was so tired. It was actually kind of cold too. Only one day at sea was warm enough to enjoy the outside and sun tan and read a book. The rest of the time we were indoors. The drive down and back was fun. We went with two other couples that made us laugh a lot.
