getting over the worst sickness

Connelly and I were sick for 14 days. Connelly is all the way better and I'm doing 90% bettter. I have three more days of antibiotics and I think I'll be better by Friday because that will be the 14th day mark for me. Connelly took 14 days to get better. It was horrible.

Well, We are redoing our yard and we don't currently have a yard. Nate rented equipment last Saturday and now I don't have internet becuase Nate's brother but the internet wire with the back hoe on Saturday. I can't download the pictures but you can imagine it. My yard, front and back, is a dirt pile. We are going to do major construction in the back yard and just resod the front yard for now. I'll put pictures up later when I have a computer and internet at home. I'm just posting at work for today.

My sister has a baby shower tomorrow for the twins and so I'm headed to Wellsville. It will be fun. Double everything. She is due in a month. I can't wait. My other sister in law, Jen, is due in two days. Babies, Babies this year and month.

I just want everyone to know I really appreciate all their help while I was sick out of my gord.

Glad you're all better. Call me when you need a friend to help you clean the dirt that inevitably finds its way inside from a yard project. (or, overhaul in your case!) You know how I love to hand-mop a floor.

Sun Valley, Idaho 2021

We stayed at a cute log cabin by the path that goes from Sun Valley to Hailey. There was a huge open field where we were able to throw the ball and play with the dogs in the snow. We ate lunches out and cooked the other meals in the cabin.  Connelly got  the French dip, Nate got the Pastrami, Kate got Macaroni salad and I got the Acai bowl! This was our fourth year going to SunValley.  We love to shop at the  thrift store, Gold Mine.  We found a lamp, board games, Sorrel snow boots for kate, beanies, and Corral plates for the kitchen!! GOLD MINE! Connelly went to Bald Mountain for the first time.  He was able to ski just as fast if not as fast as me.  The ski runs there are so long.  I never took the kids because they are  so long and I thought they wouldn't last two runs.  Connelly and I did 5 runs!!  It was so fun.  Then we got the souvenir pins for Dolla...

2020 Update on kids and life

This year the kids did home school from March 2020 until the end of the school year. It was crazy. I would have never known the words Pandemic or Social distancing until 2020. We ended up playing games every night for about 4 hours at the beginning of the pandemic. We made it through the school year. Then we started school in the fall with in person class and we have been so lucky to get through to Christmas break with no breaks from school and we even went five days aweek. Connelly is in 7th grade this fall. He is doing good with all A's so far. He thought he had a B in one class the first term and miracle of all miracles somehow it turned to an A- last minute. He was promised a phone if he gets straight A's for the next two years, 7th and 8th grade. He has worked really had on keeping an eye on his grades. He really is a good kid. I love him so much. He loves to Ski, Ninja, and ride my new mountain bike. I will need to get him a mountain bike next year. ...

Found a home

Bell has found a new home. After I put her up for FREE on ksl.com, I got a ton of calls. The first little old lady that came to look at her snatched her right up. I was really surprised because Bell snapped at her right off, but I guess things are going well now. The lady called me later in the day, and said, "thank you, thank you. Bell is the dog I've waited for my whole life." She said that Bell just followed her around all day and the neighborhood kids love her. I'm so relieved.
