Happy New Year 2009

Today was our first day of the year 2009. Nate and I stayed home with the baby all day. We cleaned up the extra room upstairs that had some how turned into the junk room. It is weird how that happens. We set up the Wii and played a game of bowling. Of course, Nate won. I don't bowl good for real or on the Wii but it was fun. We will have to practice some more. Nate has an opportunity to play the Wii at his work during his lunch breaks, so he is pretty good at the games on the Wii.

Connelly was really tired today. He took three naps. It is probably from all that partying that he did for New Year's Eve. LOL. He did stay up until 10:00 pm. That is pretty much midnight to a 9 month old. Yes, I said 9 months. Connelly is 9 months old. I can't believe it. He is so big. He is a blast to play with. He is the best fetching child alive. He will fetch the ball all day long. I tired for years to get Bell, my dog to do what he has learned in just 9 months. I'm glad I kept him and gave Bell away. It was a good trade.

Well, Nate and I both set new year resolutions. I put them up on the side bar in hopes that I'll look at them every day and remember them for the entire year. I really feel that making goals and sticking to them is a thing of the past. I really wanted to do this this year. I'm setting the standard high and hoping to follow through with all my goals. Now, for Nate, I don't know? We will just have to wait and see.

A Kandy without swearing and mean talk is just not a Kandy at all :) actually I think those are good goals! I posted mine a while ago and most people thought mine were not doable :(

I miss you so much! When Ollie gets better we will have to arrange a play date for the kids!

I love that you have 4 and Nate has 1...lol...well miss ya and talk to you soon :)

Found a home

Bell has found a new home. After I put her up for FREE on ksl.com, I got a ton of calls. The first little old lady that came to look at her snatched her right up. I was really surprised because Bell snapped at her right off, but I guess things are going well now. The lady called me later in the day, and said, "thank you, thank you. Bell is the dog I've waited for my whole life." She said that Bell just followed her around all day and the neighborhood kids love her. I'm so relieved.

Just hang'n with my BOY

Connelly has been so fun now that he is potty trained. Yes you heart me, HE IS POTTY TRAINED. Not one accident in two weeks. He will even tell me when he has to go when he is busy playing. I know this is abnormal and I'm very fortunate. I ran upon these picks from this summer and just thought how cute they were. We went to Cherry Hill resort in Kaysville this summer and had a lot of fun.

Sun Valley, Idaho 2021

We stayed at a cute log cabin by the path that goes from Sun Valley to Hailey. There was a huge open field where we were able to throw the ball and play with the dogs in the snow. We ate lunches out and cooked the other meals in the cabin.  Connelly got  the French dip, Nate got the Pastrami, Kate got Macaroni salad and I got the Acai bowl! This was our fourth year going to SunValley.  We love to shop at the  thrift store, Gold Mine.  We found a lamp, board games, Sorrel snow boots for kate, beanies, and Corral plates for the kitchen!! GOLD MINE! Connelly went to Bald Mountain for the first time.  He was able to ski just as fast if not as fast as me.  The ski runs there are so long.  I never took the kids because they are  so long and I thought they wouldn't last two runs.  Connelly and I did 5 runs!!  It was so fun.  Then we got the souvenir pins for Dolla...
