Mt. Timpanogas Cave

We finally can say that we hiked to Mt. Timpanogas Cave. We went with some friends and took Connelly and Dallynn. Connelly we hiked up with a hiking pack and then had to carry him all the way through the cave. That was a nightmare. Our friends little boy and Connelly cried and were horrible the whole hike. I didn't hear anything the tour guide said and I don't know if anyone else on the tour did either. I'm sure that the other people not in our party hated us and wished they would have picked another time without little crying kids on it. Oh well. We are in Utah and I doubt that we are the first tour that had little crying kids on it. The hike up there is one steep mile and a half. You gain 1,100 ft in a mile and a half and it feels like it. Nate packed Connelly in the whole way, but I helped our friend hike up one of their kids on the back and that is so hard. I was sweating in every crevasse. I guess I got my work out for the day. Nate really got a good work out today bec...

The Midnight Ninja's

Temple

Yesterday morning I did something I never do. I went to the temple. I woke up at 4:30 am and tried to make the 5:00 am session at the Jordan River Temple. I just missed it so I did the 5:20. That is what I love about the J.R. Temple. The sessions go every 20 min. The new Draper temple they only go every hour. It was a great change in the day and really helped my day and the spirit.

Holly's with the kids.

I have been to Holly's a few times since the twins were born. Connelly loves it here. We played in the ditch and kid pool. THey had a real good time.

July 4th

Over the Fourth we went to see family in New Mexico for a blessing and baptism. We went to Bolacks, a museum full of taxidermy animals that a rich man hunted. The place is amazing.

Vacationing

So I have a ton of pictures and events that I have to update my blog on but I don't have the time until Friday, but I love to keep it up to date, so here is a quicky. I went to New Mexico for the 4th of July, went on a wonderful Girls night out on the full moon and went for a hike, that was hysterical and then I went to Bear Lake last weekend. Connelly had a blast riding horses, 4 wheelers, hauling hay, and then boating. We visited my sister and her girls and then visited the Grandparents and Great Grandparents. I'm going to Girls camp the next few days and I'll be home Thurs. night. Nate will have to man the house and the kids. Dallynn is staying with us for a month and he is having fun swimming and fishing with Grandpa. I'll get pix up soon. Kandy

First lake trip of 2009

Connelly, Russell, Reuben, and I went to Bear Lake last weekend and went water skiing in the freezing cold Bear Lake waters. It was fun and the sun was out, yet that water still is cold. Thus, I wore a wet suit. My bro, Russ, pushed me in and it was quite shocking right off the bat. We stopped in Logan on the way there and back and visited the twins. Connelly loved them and held them and kissed them. He will be a good brother one day.
