I have been thinking lately about life and where I'm headed. I hope I'm headed down a path of happiness but only I decide that. I am going to school at Salt Lake Community College and have decided to go into their continuing education program of "Diagnostic Medical Sonography." aka: Ultra sounds. I would be the person you go to for a pelvic/abdominal or obstetrical Ultrasound. I could work at a hosptial, off-site office or a doctors office. I think I would like it. I like doing x-rays at my work right now becuase I get to call the patients back and do the x-ray on them. So I would be calling back patients doing ultrasounds on them. The doctor would read the ultrasound and be the final say but I would do the work. It is a job that I think I would like and feel like it is a worth while job. I wouldn't be imbarrassed to say what my profession is. Right now I'm imbarrassed about my profession. I'm a medical assistant. You see all those ads about...

Bear Lake in July 2008

Connelly has discovered his toes. He loves them. He loves to play with them, eat them, and kick things with them.

I went up to Bear Lake on Saturday and took some friends out on the boat. The water was horrible and too many boats. All we could do was tube. Connelly did really good though. The girls were: Jenny Bunderson, Ashley Miner, O'neal Bunderson, Krystal Miner. Then there were two unexpected boys: Lane Russell and Alex Johnson. It was fun. The boys were so weird. They wanted to ride on the tube TOGETHER. I'm a little worried about them. It was hot and nice weather however, and so we had a good time.

My brother Reuben is graduating from boot camp today. He went into the Navy about 2 months ago. My parents both went to the graduation in IL and will be there until Monday. I'm so glad they both will be there to support Reub and hopefully have some quality time together. Hopefully this navy thing will help Reub and his life!! Here is to you RUBIO!!

This was taken at Bear Lake. It was his first open water experience. We went to Draper Pool last week and he loved it. He never made a peep for 2 hours. Just hung out and looked at all the crazy people

I have a brother, Reuben. He is now in the navy and going to graduate from boot camp on July 18, 2008. However he worked at the oil Riggs for a month and during that time he got some kind of chemical on his coveralls that were so rank that my dad and I tried to boil in the horses watering trough. We had fun doing it but it really didn't make that much difference in the stench.

Connelly is now three months old. He is getting so big. He weighs 13 lbs. He smiles, and has laughed out loud a few times. He hates the bottle and so Nate has a hard time feeding him on the days that I work. I only work one day a week, Friday's. I will be working a full week in Aug. A co-worker is going on vacation and I'm filling in so we will see how that week goes, but last Friday he only ate 3 ounces in a 24 hour period. He will have to get use to the bottle sooner or later I guess. He loves to stand up and be really stiff. He loves to play with his green and brown monkeys. He also loves to smell his own feet!! What a fun baby boy he is and a blessing in my life.

We went to the Minnetonka Cave while in Bear Lake and went to the Pickleville playhouse. My mom and I only went to the play, Nate had to get home to work. HA HA. But the cave was fun and interesting. I hadn't been there since I was a little girl. On the drive up to the cave we saw a Moose.

While I was in Logan for a few days, I caught up with old friends. My friend Amanda Wheatley and I were able to chat for a few hours one night. This is a pix of her and her little boy Eli. He is a doll and looks like his daddy at least that is my opinion. Kevin, Amanda's hubby, was about to throw away a basket her dad had made her. I thought it was the cutest thing and I quickly grabbed it out of the fireplace and snatched it right up. Now it sits on my back porch with cute flowers in it. I LOVE IT!!

Well, Nate and I ate at Rocky Mountain Seafood over a year ago. When we went home to Bear Lake for a week's vacation we made sure to make a trip to Afton WY and eat at the Seafood place. It is just so delicious that we dream of it. Well we went on a Monday. BAD IDEA. They are closed on Sunday and Monday. What are the chances. So don't go there on those days. We will have to go back another day for sure. However, we did eat at a Mexican place and it was okay, then we made the little hike up to intermittent springs. It was fun.

I have been to Bear Lake for two weeks and then Logan for One week. So I've been gone three weeks. I've been home now a week but haven't had time to do anything. I still need to do laundry, dishes, homework, and blogging. So of course I am doing the most important first, BLOGGING. My priorities are straight. I have tons of pix from my trips and I will get them up soon. I went to a wedding in Logan of my dear high school friend, Angie Saxton, now Angie Hunter. It was great. The temple was a blessing to be in and the friends at the shower and wedding were fun to see. I am three weeks behind on homework and so I'm going to have to buckle down now and do some studying. It was good to go home and visit my Mom and Dad. We really got to visit and have quality time. I had quality time with Deidra, Lacey, and Holly too. My grandpa Crane was really sick the last few days I was home and then ended up being Hospitalized after I left. My mom had a stressful time becaus...
